In this edition of the Practice Support Newsletter, we’ll introduce you to some NEW in-office marketing materials, discuss how hemorrhoid banding fits in to the end of year rush (and 2018), and invite you to participate in this month’s practice support contest.
New In-Office Marketing Materials
As you may know, we recently released a second version of our wall chart and table tents (small and large). The previous version of these materials is still available, but if you’re looking for something new, you can place an order online or contact me!
Like all of our marketing materials, these are completely free of cost. Many practices display them in their waiting area, exam rooms, (even washrooms!) to let patients know they offer a quick and effective option to relieve them of their bothersome hemorrhoids. We hope you find them beneficial for your practice and your patients!
End of Year Rush!
With Thanksgiving comes the inevitable rush of patients who have met their deductibles and are looking to squeeze in any treatments they had been putting off before the end of the year. Because hemorrhoid banding is an elective procedure and many patients suffer in silence, it is a great topic to bring up to your patients!
Banding also doesn’t come with the typical patient pushback associated with procedures around the holidays as patients can drive themselves to and from the appointment with very little downtime. If you would like to get any additional providers trained to help cope with the increased demand, please let us know.
Next year’s budget
I know many of you are looking at budgets for next year and if you haven’t already, make sure you consider allocating some time and money to hemorrhoid education and treatment. Whether you would like to do some advertising, broaden your referring physician network or bring hemorrhoid-related information to a health fair, we have all kinds of materials and expertise that we would be happy to share with you.
