We hope this month’s edition of the Banding Bulletin finds you well! Now that “Colon Cancer Awareness Month” has come and gone, I’m sure that you are still dealing with the rush of new patients seeking their screening colonoscopies, and even more patients presenting with bleeding and other lower GI symptoms. The increase in public awareness of these issues is fantastic from a public health perspective, as we all know the benefits received from a robust cancer surveillance program. You will be running into a number of patients that come to you because of their worrisome rectal bleeding, much of it due to hemorrhoids and fissures, and we’d like to help you and your practice provide the best care available to them. The diagnostic and therapeutic protocols endorsed by CRH, and the use of the CRH O’Regan System will go a long way towards keeping your patients happy and healthy moving forward!
Both Andy Gorchynsky and I are available for training sessions at your practice! If interested, there is no cost to you for these types of visits; your only obligation is to have suitable patients that are scheduled to be treated. If you would like to move forward, just let me know and I’d be happy to send you our availability.
We have found that an educated and informed patient, with proper expectations, is a happy patient! So often, patients have misconceptions about the care that they are about to receive. Your staff, utilizing the complimentary educational and marketing materials offered by CRH, can provide all of the needed information to your patients. We will happily provide “in-service” training to these staff members in order to “help the cause”. We are also aware of a number of practices utilizing mid-levels in the care of these patients, and we are happy to include them in our training sessions. Should you be interested in setting up a visit, please feel free to contact Shaun Gerrits or me, and we will get you on our calendar. For educational/marketing materials or any other practice support, please contact Brianne Brody.
April and May will be busy months for us, as we will be at the SAGES conference in Baltimore from April 17th – 20th, and at the “GI Pow Wow” in Denver on April 27th. The entire crew will then be in Orlando for DDW in May. If you are planning to attend any of these conferences, please come by and say “hello”! We will be available to address any questions that may have come up, provide you with any support materials you might need, and to schedule a visit at your clinic if you’d like. In the meantime, please call me if I can help in any way. Thanks as always for your continued interest, and have a great day.
