What better time to read about hemorrhoids than in the days leading up to Thanksgiving! If you have any new staff who have joined or you would like to broaden your knowledge of hemorrhoids (because who wouldn’t?) we are always happy to spend some time to hold an over the phone staff training. We can be very flexible with how these are done – ranging from a webinar with screen sharing to more of a Q&A for those of you who have participated in a prior staff training. We also have advanced sessions and can tailor them towards individual roles whether you are involved in scheduling, billing, marketing, operations or clinical.
I know many of you are looking at budgets for next year and if you haven’t already, make sure you consider allocating some time and money to hemorrhoid education and treatment. Whether you would like to do some advertising, broaden your referring physician network or have hemorrhoid related information as part of a health fair, we have all kinds of materials and expertise that we would be happy to share with you.
With Thanksgiving comes the inevitable rush of patients who have met their deductibles and are looking to squeeze in more procedures before the end of the year. With hemorrhoid banding being an elective procedure and the fact that many patients suffer in silence, it is a great procedure to bring up to your patients. You also don’t have the typical patient pushback associated with procedures around the holidays since patients can drive themselves to and from the appointment with very little downtime.
