CRH Expands Training and Support Resources!

Now that September is upon us, many practices around the country have welcomed new associates and Advanced Practitioners into their groups, expanding their capacity for patient care. One way to help fill this capacity is to expand your lines of service is by adding the highest quality non-surgical perianal care to your repertoires! CRH has trained thousands of providers to diagnose and care for these issues, and we’d like to encourage any who are interested in learning about these procedures and protocols to contact ME at your convenience.

CRH will provide a surgeon onsite to give a didactic presentation covering general anorectal care as well as a “hands-on” training session utilizing the CRH O’Regan System – the “gold standard” in caring for symptomatic hemorrhoids. Follow-up onsite support is also provided at no cost to your practice! Thousands of Gastroenterologists are currently using the technology, and a growing number of Advanced Practitioners are as well!

So, if you have friends or associates that would like to bring these procedures to their practice, if you’d like a “refresher” session, or to allow us to present all of the “tips and tricks” that we have to improve patient results, please let ME know and we’ll get you on our calendar!

Hemorrhoid Management in the GI Literature and Online

There have been an increasing number of papers popping up in GI literature dealing with hemorrhoid and perianal care in the GI practice. While this was not always the case, these procedures and treatment protocols are now considered in the mainstream of GI.

Healthcare Business Today published a new article HERE that I co-wrote with Dr. Harry Sarles, past President of the ACG and Medical Director at the Digestive Health Research Institute, on the costly burden hemorrhoids pose to the Healthcare Industry.

Dr. David Johnson, Professor of Medicine and Chief of Gastroenterology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA, and another ACG past President, recently published a video piece with Medscape entitled “Neglecting Hemorrhoids Comes at a Cost”, which can be found HERE.

CRH on the Road!

With conference season in full swing come September, CRH is really on the road! If you plan on being in the area, or attending any of the following conferences, please come by and say “hello!”. We’ll be there to address any questions you might have as well as to provide more information regarding our training and support programs.

  • Ohio Gastroenterology Society’s (OGS) Annual Meeting – September 14th in Columbus, OH
  • Florida Gastro Society Annual Meeting – September 13th-15th in Orlando, FL
  • GGES 2019 Annual Meeting – September 14th in Atlanta, GA
  • TSGE Annual Meeting – September 20th-22nd in Houston, TX

And of course, we’ll see you in October at the ACG National Meeting in San Antonio, where the CRH O’Regan System® will be at the hemorrhoid therapies hands-on station.

CRH Anesthesia Continues to Grow

CRH Anesthesia made 2 additional acquisitions this summer, further expanding our footprint to now include 52 ASCs in 11 states, performing over 333,000 procedures per year! We are looking to continue that expansion, so if you currently: own your anesthesia program and would like to increase its financial success as well as to realize some of the equity that has been built up in the practice, outsource your anesthesia and would like to bring it “in house”, or if you are interested in transitioning from conscious sedation to deep sedation, we’d love to speak with you.

If you fall into any of these groups, please contact CARTER BLANTON, our VP of business development for CRH Anesthesia, or ME, and we’ll start a discussion to see how we can best meet your needs.
