As we move toward December, there is often a wave of patients who have already met their deductibles rushing to complete their treatments before the end of the year. As hemorrhoid banding is an elective procedure, this is a great time to let patients who may be suffering in silence know that they have a quick, painless option. Since the procedure can be done in-office with no prep or sedation, the holidays can be a more convenient time for patients to schedule their appointment.
Be sure to get those patients in soon so they can complete all three appointments before the end of the year! If your practice needs any brochures or other marketing materials to help educate patients about the procedure, don’t hesitate to let me know. These are always free of cost for CRH customers!
For
those of you who are finalizing your 2020 budgets, consider allocating time and
resources to hemorrhoid education and treatment. Hemorrhoids are something so
many people suffer from (50% of the population by age 50), but often don’t
bring up to their physicians, so there’s ample opportunity to help more
patients!
There are many ways to spread awareness, whether through educating your
referring physician network or existing patients, advertising, or even
presenting some hemorrhoid-related information at a health fair.
If you would like to take part in any of these initiatives, or have your own
ideas to grow hemorrhoid banding, we would love to help! Ask us about the
resources and best practices we have built and how we can help you grow.
